Our junior football club is run by a large group of local volunteers for the benefit of youngsters of school age within Tenterden and the surrounding villages.
After being formed only seven years ago, the club expanded rapidly to its current membership of some 300 + youngsters.
The 'core' team of volunteers give up anything upwards of 4 hours per week of their time for much of the year, whilst a smaller number of club personnel are currently devoting closer to 20 hours of their time each and every week to the strategic development of the club..

MATCH REPORTS

Tenterden Tigers U15 Girls v Tonbridge Juniors U15 Girls

Final score 14-1 to Tigers.

Tigers kicked of with the wind and torrential rain behind them, this gave them the advantage in the first half and combined with very good pass and movement Tigers were ahead within two minutes with a goal from Charlotte Kibblewhite.  The second goal followed minutes later with what is becoming a trademark looping left field shot from Rebecca Slann.  Rebecca who went on to score a hat trick in the first half, the torrential rain continued as goals from Emily Hill who played excellent in midfield.  Kayleigh Harris, who's speed and agility kept the opposition defence under great pressure and Chloe Mitchell our Captain who again had a great game, took our tally to 10 by the end of the first half.

The second half kicked off again in bad weather and this time with the wind and rain in our face, combined with a change of goalkeeper for the opposition ensured that the task of scoring goals in the second half was much more difficult. Despite the conditions the girls continued to work hard in possession and four more goals from Sadie Perry, and again Kayleigh Harris and Chloe Mitchell saw the game end 14-1.

A creditable performance considering the conditions.

Match Report Tenterden Pumas U10's

Game against West Farleigh on the 17 October score 2-2 draw in Weald of Kent Friendly League

Great spirit shown to comeback 2 nil down at half time and even the game up at the end.
Following a couple of changes at half time we managed to get a couple back with excellent passing to position Joe well for the shot. And of course Tobias took his opportunity up front to draw us even. Henry continues to be a menace to the oppositions strikers.

Charlie S did us proud in goal in the first half however came off at half time and was replaced with the equally solid Mitch. Our Captain of the day James lead the team well and was dreadfully unlucky not to get us a win in the dying seconds of the game. Again fantastic game from Charlie N who helped keep the opposition out while selflessly feeding his strikers and of course the usual dynamism from Matt up front – again unlucky he didn’t get a couple away in the
