Lions donate money to Tigers Travelux of tenterden

We are delighted to receive support from local businesses and organisations, which has allowed the Tigers to develop into a leading Junior Football Club within the South East.
This season, we are delighted to be receiving support from new sponsors:-

Tenterden Lions have come forward to sponsor the under 7s and have demonstrated tremendous enthusiasm and support.

The under 8s are enjoying the support and financial assistance of Travelux in Tenterden, part owned and managed by Ian Hopely.

The U9/U10s  have generously been supported by Simon Percival Motors based in Wittersham.

Del Athwal, who owns Shop Around The Clock in St Michael’s is sponsoring the under 14s which is managed by long term supporter of Tenterden Tigers, Russell Taylor.

We look forward to welcoming new members into the Club and working with the Community over the rest of this football season.

Our junior football club is run by a large group of local volunteers for the benefit of youngsters of school age within Tenterden and the surrounding villages.
After being formed only seven years ago, the club expanded rapidly to its current membership of some 300 + youngsters.
The 'core' team of volunteers give up anything upwards of 4 hours per week of their time for much of the year, whilst a smaller number of club personnel are currently devoting closer to 20 hours of their time each and every week to the strategic development of the club..

2008/09 Tenterden Tigers U14 Girls Season in short.
07/05/2009

In the last 3 seasons the u14 Girls team has gone from strength to strength, our first season at this high level resulted in a second place and promotion to the top division, the second season was full of issues none more than our ability to have a full squad every week, many games being played with only 9 players, despite this a credible fourth was a fantastic result. Considering the top three were the best in the league and came from significantly bigger catchment areas than Tenterden.
